Creamy Hash Brown Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 package 32 oz. frozen Southern-style hash brown potatoes, thawed
  • 1 pound chesse/ cubed
  • 1 can Cream of Chix soup I use the Pacific brand condensed chix soup because it's gluten free
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 3/4 cup butter or margarine melted...divided
  • 3 tablespoons chopped onion
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 cups cornflakes, slightly crushed besure to use gluten free ones

Directions

In a large bowl, conbine hash browns, cheese, soup, sour cream, 1/2 cup butter and onion. Spread into a greased 13 X 9 inch baking dish. Sprinkle with paprika. Combine the cornflakes and remaining butter, sprinkle on top. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 50-60 minutes
